A Return to Radio Dreams, Thanks to YouTube.

Once upon a time, I was a host and occasional DJ on CKMS 100.3, a university/community station in Waterloo. I produced and hosted an arts program, and filled in for absent DJs in the much more coveted music slots.

It was a student station AND the 90s, so "radio voices" were strictly frowned upon -- even ironically. The only acceptable tone was one of detached almost befuddled indifference, unless you were obviously drunk and/or high or, of course, the highly earnest news reader.

Thanks to YouTube, at long last, I finally get to practice my radio voice.
